Volvo Group Design is the design function for the Group’s brands and business areas. The team provides design to products, digital solutions and services from the three studios located in Gothenburg, Sweden, Lyon, France and Greensboro NC, US.
We are now looking for skilled Digital modelers to join our design team, located in Lundby, Gothenburg.

This is how you can make an impact


As a digital modeler in Volvo Group Design, you will get the opportunity to work closely with our design team and be responsible for the deliveries of design shape models (DSM) in time and according to agreed quality standards.
You should be able to enhance the DSM maturity and feasibility to match the project phases by knowing how to deliver models from concept to class A.
The digital modeler will develop models for presentations and decisions, by transforming 2D sketches or 3D scanned data to a 3D digital surface model with a great understanding of the technical requirements.

To be successful in this role you will possess the following experience, skills and qualifications:
Expert skills in Alias or Icem Surf
Digital modelling experience from the automotive/transport industry or similar
Ability to understand technical and design input
Fluent in English
Team player
Ability to adapt to changes and challenges
