We are seeking a Digital Product Manager to join our passionate team to spearhead the development of digital products that redefine the way financial and procurement operations function in our autonomous transport and mining ventures.

Volvo Autonomous Solutions (V.A.S) is a new entity within the Volvo Group with the mission to offer transport solutions never seen before. We accelerate the development, commercialization, and sales of autonomous transport solutions, focusing on defined segments for the on- and off-road space. With entirely new business models and highly advanced technology we will meet and exceed expectations from customers, and contributing to a society that we want to live in. The Digital and IT team is a new and growing team at Volvo Autonomous Solutions. Our mission is to enable the digital side of V.A.S. to transform from an internal start-up to a scale up. We work with our customers and partners to enable digital business models. We facilitate the work inside V.A.S. to secure that we have the right tools for the job and to succeed we fluently mix working with ambitious strategies as well as with hands on implementations.


Who are you?


With a background in Digital, Finance or both, you are an innovative and collaborative leader with a strategic mindset and genuinely excited about emerging technologies. You believe that Digital should not only support business functions but be the leader in designing tomorrows business solutions. You are known for your ability to think beyond conventions taking abstract concepts into tangible, awe-inspiring solutions. The autonomous transport industry is rapidly evolving, and requiring a person who can navigate uncertainty and adapt to changing circumstances.


Additional Qualifications
Relevant University degree or equivalent professional experience.
Strong understanding of finance and procurement processes, industry regulations, and challenges.
Deep understanding of the industry and end-user needs.
Be able to create a value propositions and business cases for the product area.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage stakeholders and inspire cross-functional teams.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making and performance tracking.
Strong knowledge and experience in agile methodologies along with practical experience of its applications.
Experience in transportation or heavy machinery industries is a plus.

What will you do?


Provided with the opportunity to build the future of digital finance from the outset, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company strategy for finance and procurement solutions.


Deftly balancing the needs and demands from the markets, the Volvo Group and the industry segments, you will drive initiatives from design to execution, creating long-lasting and efficient digital products. Your creative and curious mindset will be the driving force behind these transformative projects, defining how finance operations are managed within the realm of autonomous transport solutions.


Your responsibilities:
Define and communicate a clear vision for the product area, strategy, and a roadmap that aligns with the company's goals and end-user needs in the finance and purchasing domain.
Synchronize goals with digital product teams and build a culture of accountability and ownership by empowering the product area and setting clear expectations.
Monitor adherence to financial targets, managing cost for the product area.
Track and measure the product area’s performance health through OKRs and KPIs.
With an empathic and user-centric mindset, understanding the needs and pain points of end-users, actively seeking user feedback to drive product enhancements that genuinely increase their experience.

Location


The location for this position is Gothenburg - Sweden. We offer possibilities for a flexible hybrid work model but are not looking for candidates that are 100% remote.
