What’s in it for you?
We are looking for a passionate Digital Product Owner for the product Integration Portals within the cluster Integration Center of Enablement (ICoE). 
The Integration Portal product resides within the Integration Center of Enablement Cluster which manages a set of integration platforms, currently 8 of them, where IBM MQ, RedHat 3scale, and Apache KAFKA are the key platforms. We maintain and operate these platforms and self-service portals to enable (state of the art) integration capabilities for all applications at Volvo Cars. 


What you’ll do
As a digital product owner, you will maximize value by owning and deciding upon priorities in the product team’s backlog from a business perspective to streamline the execution, while maintaining the technical integrity of the features/components for the team. You are the voice of the user, you have a business perspective and deep technical/integration know-how.  

Your main responsibilities will be: 
 • Own, maintain and prioritize the product backlog
 • Work with the development team in implementing solutions and features of the portals
 • Participate in daily stand-ups and our various scrum ceremonies
 • Involve the team in backlog refinement to achieve minimum handover and maximum joint understanding as well as understanding the scope of the upcoming enabler work
 • Own and understand the Integration Pattern visualization, keep it up-to-date and accurate and deliver upon KPIs reflecting the progress of self-service usage through the application landscape
 • You will be articulating and consistently emphasizing the short- and long-term vision of the product to the team and relevant stakeholders as well as ensure increased stability for our portals by close collaboration with the other product teams of the cluster
 • Drive quality and operational excellence for the portals 
 • Actively collaborate with stakeholders as well as other teams to understand the voice of the customer
 • Manage and optimize financials associated with the assigned digital product
 • Proactively develop product strategically with a long-term sustainability and excellent standard in focus

You and your skills
We are looking for you who have work experience in a leading position - driving digital product strategy as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or equivalent role for a minimum of 4 years. You have extensive experience with integration concepts and technologies, as well as integration strategies. You are very familiar with software architecture and software development including common languages, tools and processes. You understand and are comfortable with the global environment in which Volvo Cars operates.  Your dialogue with stakeholders is strong and well-articulated. You have worked with suppliers and are comfortable with the dialogues related to both critical operations and development. You are experienced in agile development methodologies and SAFE framework and have worked in product teams. You look forward to developing the concept of DevOps in your team. You are data-driven in your approach to decision-making and measuring your successes. You are also fluent in English, both verbally and written. 

As a person, you are customer focused and passionate about solving their problems. You are flexible, open to new ideas and always looking for ways to improve, and you love to initiate and drive transformation. You are energetic, have forward-thinking and you push for innovation. You are excellent at communicating, presenting, and relationship-building with teams and global stakeholders. You have a holistic viewpoint and an ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve the team’s goals. Also, you are a kind and positive person, with a clear technical interest.
