We are now looking for a Director Global Outbound Logistics, Global Aftermarket Logistics to join our team in Gothenburg, Sweden!

Global Aftermarket Logistics is part of the Global Aftermarket at Volvo Penta. Our role is to create customer loyalty and business value through an efficient parts supply chain resulting in customer satisfaction.
 
Global Aftermarket logistics is a small team of high performing people who values relationships built on trust, being prepared for change, engage with a great deal of passion and having fun. We have a global responsibility to present our customers with world-class logistic solutions that secures uptime and customer satisfaction now and for the future. We are now looking for a person who will cooperate with our partners and regions to secure and develop the outbound logistic structure and performance according to the business requirements of the future.
 
In this role, you will focus on developing a high and consistent customer service globally starting from Volvo Penta’s aftermarket logistic roadmap. It is a tight cooperation within the logistic team as well as with market units, regions and Group Trucks Operations / Service Market Logistics (GTO SML) to meet present and future business and customer demands.


Your core responsibilities will include:
Follow up on logistic performance and act on deviations
Expand the Dealer Inventory Management concept (VPIM) to new markets and dealers
In close cooperation with regions and market units, develop and drive the logistic roadmap based on strategic plan and identified requirements
Coordinate and drive logistic development projects
Drive Volvo Penta requirements in Volvo Group common initiatives as well as Volvo Penta unique developments
