Director, Group Trucks Business Control

Group Trucks controlling has the overall responsibility for controlling of the Group Trucks operations.

As a senior member of our team you will support the Group Trucks management team to optimize and drive performance within Group Trucks

-Operationally oriented financial analysis on a monthly basis ? being the vital link between finance and operations
-Financial early warnings, estimates and financial planning
-Secure that executive management has relevant and fact based information regarding financial consequences and risks from business decisions
-Be the voice of finance in critical operational and strategic analysis and recommendations
-Participate in various extended profitability analysis in regional and product range dimension
-The controlling team is working closely together in the main deliveries but is also organized in order to allow individual deeper controlling in special areas and participation in ad-hoc assignments.

Critical competencies for the position
We are looking for a person with genuine knowledge of the Groups Trucks operations. It is important to have knowledge of the overall business fundamentals, customer needs, performance drivers and value creators ? and how the same differs between regions and segments. The position requires analytical skills, a personal drive and ability to execute on time and with quality. Furthermore should he/she work with a strong professionalism and integrity? As a member of a small but dedicated team you need to manage the relevant information gathering and analysis by own merits. The position will give you a very good view over the Group Trucks operations and will provide you with excellent opportunities to deepen your knowledge and develop your Business Control skills.
More formally the position requires the following:
-University degree and/or an MBA in relevant financial field(s)
-Senior experience from qualified business control on local and / or central level
-Extensive network within Group Trucks with an ability to work with a good balance between challenge and support out in the whole organization
-Ability to translate and communicate the financial impact of different decisions
-Ability to work independently in a flexible and multi-cultural environment
-Ability to take on ?high profile? assignments and present the findings for executive management
-Fluent in written and spoken English and preferably an additional language
