Director of Systems Operations

About the team and role



As a Director of Systems Operations you will lead a team that is responsible for operating exchange systems and are deeply involved in internal and external projects. You will be responsible and accountable for managing and developing the team, setting direction and deploying resources on varying projects, participating in organization-wide projects, while providing guidance and expertise on an as needed basis. As a manager you are required to understand how other business units operates, how their goals align with organizational goals and have budget and profit/loss responsibility.



Your responsibilities will include:

* Building, managing, and providing leadership to a team of professional staff
* Setting priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinating work activities with other supervisors and managers.
* Collaborating with other levels of management and other departments to create and maintain efficient work processes.
* Collaborating with other levels of management, departments, and clients regarding requests.
* Ensuring timely, accurate and complete reporting to appropriate parties regarding the team's operations.
* Evaluating current business processes and systems, ensuring cost-savings and risk control.
* Motivating, developing, recruiting and retaining employees while rewarding and cultivating a culture of high performing teams

You have a degree in Engineering, Technology or Computer Science discipline possible combined with 5-6 years of work experience in relevant discipline.



Prior project management and/or line management experience is required. Experience in software development and testing methodology is a merit.

You are fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken.



On a personal level, you have good social skills and like to interact with customers, both internally and externally.
