The Service Business is a major cornerstone of Vestas, which seeks to secure long term partnerships and continued business with customers through focused, creative, and best in class service offerings. The North-West Regional Service Account Management team is a key contributor to this vision, handling key customer relationships across the Vestas Service Commercial landscape in the important markets of Scandinavia, Ireland and UK.





Responsibilities


In your role as Director Service Account Management (m/f/d), you will guide the team that is responsible for bringing profitable growth with a focus on Vestas' Service Commercial strategy towards long term service customers in the EMEA North-West region. Your tasks will include:





Guiding a motivated and diverse team of ever-growing Service Sales Managers across the region
Working closely with your peers from other regions, as well as key stakeholders in wind turbine sales, customer service management, legal and engineering
Developing growth and professionalisation of the service account management function in the region, supporting relationship building with key customers across NCE
Propelling the sale of long-term service contracts, upgrade and aftermarket products, large frame agreements and other offerings
Develop a significant understanding of your market to identify untapped new demand and work with other NCE and global functions to develop suitable offerings
Support your team members through a structured approach and high-quality understanding of Vestas' process landscape, with a mindset to further improve what is in place today



Qualifications


Master's degree, for instance with focus on business or engineering
Several years of highly relevant experience in account management and sales, for example in a services/aftersales business
Experience in supervising others, ideally from working in commercial functions
A proven history of delivering on and above business targets
Professional English skills, verbally and in writing
The ability and willingness to travel (30%)

Committed person (m/f/d) with a positive mindset and energy, who has the ability to motivate others
High level of customer and likewise employee orientation through a service-minded and positive attitude
Ability to direct and to prioritise in a fast pace and highly progressive environment
Interest in the renewable energy industry, combined with a profound understanding of economics and finance
Good communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of delivering your message effectively across the organisation as well as the organisational environment
