Location is Linköping or Gothenburg, you will be part of our R&D operations and report to Martin Olsson, VP Experience Framework.

 

YOUR OPPORTUNITY AND RESPONIBILITY
As Director Software Engineering in the Experience Framework product area you will have line responsibility for a group of very talented Software Engineers/Architects/Designers. Together we build a world-class web client framework that enables our users (other developers) to build state-of-the-art user interfaces in a super effective and declarative way. As a member of the product area’s leadership team you will have a key role, both strategically and operationally, in our success.

 

As Director Software Engineering at IFS you will be expected to:


• Coach and motivate individuals and teams
• Be a role model in words and actions
• Recruit new coworkers, perform appraisals and set salaries
• Be proactive, drive and take ownership
• Be communicative and have a yes we can attitude
• Possess expertise knowledge in software development
• Provide knowledge and insight in DevOps mindsets and Agile processes

TO BE SUCCESSFUL
To be a successful Director Software Engineering at IFS your mindset will be the key factor, but to get even further we would like you to have a relevant academic degree (M.Sc. or B.Sc.).

 

You’re likely a former developer who’s added a fair amount of leadership skills to your palette already, or you just can’t wait to make that move.
