Since 2000 company acts as a shorex agent for many cruise lines and has a leading position on the Swedish market.
Our announcement is addressed to people living in Gothenburg.
We are looking for Dispatcher for the 2022 Gothenburg operations (May-October up to 30 assignments)
Dispatcher will be assigned to work on different piers in Gothenburg Port.
Position’s main responsibilities and assignments are dispatching services when cruise ships arrive in Gothenburg Port.
Dispatcher checks that all buses and guides (that have been booked in advance by our office staff) are at the pier on time. Ensures that all buses receive correct signs (these are prepared by us in advance). Answers any questions from the ship about the excursions (all info about the excursions is given by us in advance). Writes down the number of participants on each bus. Answers any questions from the guides about the excursions (all info about the excursions is given by us in advance).
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
Fluency in English is mandatory
Native or high working knowledge of Swedish is an advantage
Previous experience in tourism and/or customer service is a plus
Highly customer focused, helpful and with excellent personal manners
Strong communication skills
Attention to details
Responsible and punctual
Able to work independently
