Divisional Senior Communications Strategist
As a Divisional Senior Communications Strategist you will be a central part in driving Epiroc Technology and Digital divisions journey and business transformation.
In this role you will drive and develop the internal communications strategy and be the natural point of contact for the management team for communication topics.
The Technology & Digital division is undergoing an exciting business transformation, changing from an internal supplier to a fully commercial division, having ownership of the digital business of Epiroc. The divisional target is to position Epiroc as an agnostic supplier in the digital mining and civil engineering.
For this business transformation to happen – communication will play a paramount role to ensure alignment, engagement and showing the way forward. You will together with the HR team form a strong collaboration in the change management process – providing communication expertise and driving the communication plan.
To drive this communication we are now searching for a business focused professional with strategy executions skills. You have a strong track record of developing communication strategies that fulfils business needs and the ability to execute them efficiently and effectively. An important part of our business strategy is acquisition of new companies, so experience from Merger & Acquisitions-projects and the onboarding process is highly meritorious.
Your mission
Your key responsibilities include developing and executing the internal communication strategy plan and to be the owner of the internal communication in the Technology & Digital division.
An important part of the assignment is to communicate the divisional strategy in an efficient way together with the divisional management team - creating understanding, engagement and commitment among the divisions' 1200 employees. You ensure that our division work successfully with different communications channels suitable for our employees, managers and other stakeholders. Channels could for example be leader forums, digital events, pod casts, videos and articles on the intranet and in social media.
The role is mainly internal communication, but has some external responsibilities as well, for example handling media relations related to the division and communication with external stakeholder for example in Merger and Acquisition projects.
You will work in close collaboration with HR, managers and internal communications professionals as well as the Epiroc Corporate Communications team to succeed in this role.
In this role, you will report to Vice President HR, Communications & SHEQ in the Technology & Digital division.
Your profile
This is a senior role that require strong self-management skills and strong capabilities in influencing others. You are a skilled strategist with operative experience and you can work both independently and in excellent collaboration to suit any purpose and target audience. If you also have leadership experience (manager, project manager or equivalent) it will be of great benefit in this role.
You have strong business acumen, strategic skills and can brief creation for both internal and external stakeholders. You also have experience of external services and you need to have great understanding for how to apply brand guidelines and internal brand building.
In this role you also need experience in graphical design and knowledge in Adobe CC and experience from working in SharePoint.
To be the best fit for this position we believe you have a degree in business administration, marketing, media and communication or similar. If you have previous experience from Merger and Acquisition projects, onboarding process and a similar position is meritorious.
You have superior writing skills, in both English and Swedish, you can easily adapt communication to suit any purpose and target audience.
