Driven Solution architect within Finance IT Scania

Your responsibilities

You will mainly be responsible for understanding the business strategies and visualize the future IT landscape that enables the business goals. A daily collaboration with our business colleges and other Solution architects to establish a flexible and future proven IT landscape that supports Scania business vision and new business models.

Some of your main tasks will include: 


• Ensuring that functionality is reused and that company-wide architecture principles and guidelines for standards are followed in the technical architecture 
• Taking responsibility, together with other architects and our development teams, for ensuring that the solution has a long life cycle 
• You will be part of ongoing projects and will work in parallel with current solution architects within areas of production, after market, finance and purchasing.
• Keep an overview of the existing solutions, new development initiatives, and secure that the solution's documentation such as modelling etc. is being performed according to established guidelines.

Your profile

We are looking for Senior Professionals with a minimum of 5 years of work as a Solution architect. You have detailed technical knowledge but also have the ability to think strategically. You view continuous improvement as part of your daily work. You should have a positive attitude and be able to cooperate with the team, but also work independently when required. Your ability to take responsibility, be structured and self-propelled is very important. It is an advantage if you have experience from the automotive industrial production area. 

In order to be successful you need to have:


• Experience of understanding business requirements and working with key business and technology stakeholders
• Ability to constructively challenge ideas and design approaches
• Broad technical aptitude, strong design and analytical skills
• Experience from working with cloud and hybrid solutions
• Broad architecture diagramming capabilities
• Good communication skills, good at networking and creating relationships
• Experience and practice from using agile working methods
• Experience of working with SAP S4 and transformation projects

Meritorious is experience from work with finance processes and data management.
