OM TJÄNSTEN
Academic Work is on behalf of our client looking for an Editor. The team consists of 7 competent members working with our client’s web site, community blog and social media. The need for an editorial coworker has grown lately and we are therefore looking for you who wants to join this fun team over the summer. Our client is located in a newly renovated and inspiring office on Södermalm in Stockholm.

This is a consultant assignment. Academic Work will be your employer and you will work as a consultant at our client. The assignment will be full time and extend to August 2018.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
As an Editor you will work with articles and drafts to make sure they hold a high standard and are in line with the company's marketing strategy. You will also work with and create posts for social media. The role will also contain of ad hoc tasks and support to the team where it is needed the most.

For example, you will:


* Review articles, social media posts and other copy to make sure it’s grammatically correct, well written and consistent with our client's tone
* Provide feedback to freelance writers and partners to help improve articles and other writing-driven projects
* Write posts for our client's social media channels - currently Twitter, Facebook and Instagram


The position suits you who has worked for a couple of years with editing and feel comfortable in giving constructive feedback to your peers. You are now looking for a new opportunity and loves the idea of working within the gaming industry.

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
* You who have a couple of years of experience working with similar editorial tasks, for example at a magazine


* You who have good knowledge of social posts from being an active user
* You who have excellent knowledge in written English and the ability to write for diverse audiences
* You who have proven creative writing skills demonstrating a great ear for dialogue, humor and and pace


It will be considered an additional qualification if you are interested in the gaming industry. It will also be considered a big plus if you have excellent research skills and a proactive attitude to finding exciting, fresh content for or client's community.

As a person, you are self-driven and knows how to prioritize your time well. You take ownership of your projects and see them through to delivery. You work well against deadlines and knows how to manage your time and work load in an effective way. You also know how to give constructive feedback that helps our client's writers to improve. To fit in to this team you are social and ambitious and of course you love to have fun at work!
