The Tube product area, within the business area Sandvik Materials Technology (SMT), is specialized in seamless tubes and pipes and associated parts. SMT's new strategy has a strong focus on utilizing our unique competence within materials technology to grow within the energy segment - primarily within oil and gas, but even in other strategic growth areas.

We are now looking for an EHS Manager who can increase the level of competence within EHS at Product Area (PA) Tube. The location for the position can be discussed.

Key performance areas
As EHS Manager your role is to promote and coordinate the implementation of our Safety Principles and standardized ways of working. You ensure that PA Tube is well equipped, with both ambition and competence, to be a role model in working with EHS.

Your main responsibilities are:
- The product area's short and long-term development with respect to Safety, Environment and Energy management and the EHS management systems
- Ensuring that work is conducted in accordance with SMT's Environment and Energy System
- Delivering on overall targets set by SMT and, together with PUs, setting local targets, strategies and plans and implementing them within the organization
- Ensuring that the demands and requirements set by government agencies, international standards and specific customer requirements are met or exceeded
- Developing and coaching local EHS supervisors and training the organization in Environmental, Health and Safety related issues
- Third party auditing and coaching in the area of EHS
- Ensuring that developments in the field are followed

You report to the HR Manager and represent EHS globally for Tube.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in EHS and at least two to three years' work experience within the field. You have excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken, as well as good knowledge of MS Office. Knowledge of Swedish is advantageous.

You are a result-oriented and self-motivated individual, with a structured working style, who gladly takes the initiative. The position requires that you are perceptive and easily create a trusting environment for collaboration, and sharing of best practices. We also place importance on you having good ability to create and maintain relationships, as you will have a broad network of contacts.
