We are the Wheel Loader Product Platform at Volvo Construction Equipment.


We have started on an exciting transformation journey with both the conventional Wheel Loader development and disruptive technology shifts such as Electro-mobility, Automation and Connectivity. This is how you could make a difference
You will contribute with good understanding in developing Product Solutions according to valid Directives and standards. You will play a key role in specifying and reviewing technical concepts and solutions and ensure that the Functional and Electrical Safety requirements are fulfilled for our Machine Control Systems. This role is a very important piece of the puzzle to see that all our machines fulfill the requirements needed to be safe and compliant out on the field.


Who Are You?
A university degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or relevant field
Experience within the Electrical Safety area and knowledge in product development (according to safety standards like ISO12100, ISO13849, or ISO17757) would be an advantage.
You have good communication skills and feel that collaboration with colleagues is motivating. You are pragmatic, creative and have a positive spirit with a make it happen-mindset.


Good To Have
Fluent in English, written and spoken.
Exposure of safety engineering processes (Hazard and Operability Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis etc.) may give you more points.
