Breas Medical is now strengthening their technical organization by recruiting an Electronic design engineer to the site in Mölnlycke, Gothenburg.

Patient safety and product quality is top priority at Breas Medical. As part of the local engineering team you will, with focus on product performance and quality, contribute your electronic design expertise to further develop, improve and support existing product lines

Your daily tasks include:

• Product support focusing on digital- and analog design, power systems, electronics and EMC activities.
• Lead and take responsibility for sub projects, i.e. Independently plan and perform given tasks regarding electrical development.
• Perform according to quality regulations applying to Medical Devices
• Ensure product reliability, performance and delivery through efficient relationships with e.g. manufacturing, quality department and suppliers.
This is a full-time permanent position starting as soon as possible

Qualification:

The right candidate has an engineering degree in electronic design (or similar) combined with at least five years of relevant work experience within the Electronics design field (typically e.g. digital, power, batteries, motor control). In addition to your expertise within electronic engineering and design you have knowledge of relevant CAD systems and simulations tools. Previous experience of EMC compatible design/solutions and quality regulations relevant to medical devices (ISO13485) is a plus.

On a personal level you are a result oriented self-starter with the ability to meet delivery targets while working on multiple projects simultaneously. You have excellent communication skills and enjoy working both independently and in teams. In addition, you work accurately and show excellent documentations skills in accordance with quality regulations. Excellent English, both spoken and in writing, is required and good Swedish is a plus. Personal skills will be highly valued in the selection process.
