Electronics hardware owner

GTA Vehicle Electronics is one of five global technology areas within Global Electrical and Electronics Engineering. We are represented on all Volvo GTT sites and consist of around 130 skilled engineers in the area of:
Vehicle functions & electronics
Chassis functions & electronics
Safety functions & electronics
Customer & Transport Adaptation

You will work in the team responsible for developing Vehicle functions and electronics located in Lundby, Gbg, where the hardware development teams are located either at a supplier, or as development partners. Our mission is to deliver world class products in the area of vehicle functions, electronics where we are constantly challenged to provide the best solutions in terms of feature, quality and cost at the right time. You can look forward to an individual, inspiring assignment together with many enthusiastic and professional colleagues. You will in this role be the contact interface/responsible for your component/s, have a large network cross-functionally and globally.

Main responsibilities:
Manage hardware for concerned ECUs / components
Drive supplier and/or development partner
Single point of contact to stakeholders for technical issues
Provide product documentation to our internal and external customers
Product documentation in production- and development tools
Manage the release, quality securement process activities
HW integration in electrical system
Responsible for HW roadmap
Synchronize requirements on the products? evolution road maps with the stakeholders
Continuous communication with stakeholders and suppliers
Participate in Pre-study team and advanced engineering
Follow the GDP, GDI and all concerned processes
Deliver according to committed QDCF

Minimum Years of Experience Required:
5 years of experience in the electronics area, preferably in the automotive industry

Minimum Education Required:
