Are you ready to take your engineering expertise to the next level? We are currently seeking a dedicated and creative Engine Oil Development Engineer to lead advanced engineering projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge developments in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities:
• Spearhead engine oil development tasks during the advanced engineering and concept phase, including strategic planning and test coordination with stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with lubricant suppliers to explore new applications and ensure optimal performance of new oil candidates.
• Facilitate seamless testing of new oil candidates in engine rigs and vehicle tests during the development phase.
• Establish initial specifications for pioneering oil formulations, driving innovation in the field.
• Represent the company at influential oil forums, including the prestigious IFC, and contribute to shaping the future of the industry.
• Oversee oil analysis conducted by external service providers, ensuring meticulous documentation and providing expert insights for test result interpretation.
• Manage the approval of service oils for key customers, delivering exceptional consultancy services that meet and exceed their expectations.

About you
• Education and degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in automotive industry product development or verification testing.
• Strong interest in and understanding of lubricant properties for internal combustion engine functionality.
• Demonstrated ability to drive the development of engine oil for various hybrid applications.
• Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and fluency in Swedish is highly valued.
• Familiarity with Teamcenter and Sharepoint is considered a plus.

About the position
The assignment is a consultant position with employment at Adecco. The start will take place as soon as possible after agreement.
