Engineer Client Development

The Engineer Client Development is based in the Development organization of Williams Interactive and works with the client side of the Williams Interactive gaming system.
The primary responsibility of an Engineer is to assist the team in the implementation of new features and improvements in the WI product end user experience. This position must demonstrate technical competence and communication skills and accountability. This position must also demonstrate a understanding of graphics and animations.

Essential Job Functions

? Work both independently, and with support from more senior team members to design and implement solutions in assigned projects.
? Deliver implementation solutions, and associated automated tests, that are robust, efficient, maintainable and secure
? Identify and resolve application level issues and defects
? Write and maintain technical documentation describing various aspects of our systems
? Participate in design sessions with other team members
Additional Job functions
? Maintain up to date knowledge on new programming methods and new software technologies
? Work closely with Graphical artists when creating animations and effects in the user interfaces
? Work with Information designers when developing user interfaces.

Education:

? Equivalent to Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or higher

Work Experience:

? 2 years of professional programming experience of web based frontend applications in Java, ActionScript, Javascript and/or HTML/CSS.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

? Understanding of object oriented programming, design patterns and software development best practices
? Understanding of Test Driven Development and automated testing
? Understanding of agile software development
? Familiarity with version control systems, like Git or Subversion
? Knowledge of working with animations and graphics.
? Good communication skills

Physical Requirements: Office environment

Work Conditions:

? May require weekend and evening hours.
? Willingness to travel and work on location
? Available for emergency on-call duties
