Alfa Laval develops products and runs strategic product activities at a number of Product Centres.The Product Centre for Separation Systems in Tumba is responsible for research, product development, project management, product management and product support.Our main goal is to increase the profitability of our separation business.The Development Laboratory for high speed separators is urgently looking for a qualified engineer with an orientation towards measurement and control engineering.Your position will be placed in the Laboratory service group and the responsibility will include: .[Measurement, planning and evaluation of appropriate measuring methods .[Selection and adaptation of sensors, and instruments for data gathering .[Development of PLC-logic .[Evaluation and purchasing of measuring instruments .[Guidance and support of other technicians in the measurement team In this position you will work in close cooperation with project managers, test engineers, development engineers and equipment suppliers.Profile: We believe that you have an electronic or mechatronic education and a few years experience from similar assignments.Your skills and experience include good technical understanding of mechanical equipment in industrial applications.You have good organizational skills since your job will cover many parallel and complex activities.You work independently and you are comfortable with keeping many things on track at the same time.Practicalities You will be based in the Development Laboratory in Tumba, within the Product Centre for High Speed Separator.
