Could you be the full-time Engineering Group Manager
in Stockholm we’re looking for?



Your future role:
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to the Head of the Train Management System department, and work alongside a team of experts.
You’ll work with our SW development team in Train Management Systems. You’ll be part of a challenging environment ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
You will make sure that the team has the right means to be able to perform at its best, which includes ways of working, competence growth and the right staffing. Day-to-day, you’ll take care of your team to develop and continuously improve over time.
Also, you’ll be highly involved in the deliveries of the projects and direct interactions with the customer and end users.

We’ll look to you for:
Lead and oversee the team of software developers specializing in train management systems
Staff the team and follow-up projects and task execution, delivering as per project commitments
Identify, generalize, and stabilize best practices
Lead continuous team improvement, plan trainings and coach the team
Agree and implement with the department head and the peer leaders the department guidelines (team profile and skills, growth plans, discipline evolutions in terms of technology, competitiveness, …)
Set clear team goals, delegate tasks and set deadlines
Continuously motivate, encourage, evaluate and recognize, train and develop resources.
Estimate / Validate activities quotations for tenders and projects
Manage adequacy between estimated workload and capacity, taking into account subcontracting & business strategies
Be customer-oriented; both towards internal customers and external ones

Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Experience in leading teams.
Very good communication skills.
Organizational and time-management skills
Decision-making skills
Fluent English is mandatory. Swedish is beneficial.
