Engineering Manager to 2nd largest EMS Manufacturer in Europe

As Test Engineering Manager you will lead and manage the Test Engineering Team with 11 Test Engineers and Technicians. You will be responsible for the effective operation and implementation of testing processes and equipment as well as maintenance of installed test equipment.
You will report to Industrial Engineering Manager. Also you will organize prompt troubleshooting and fixing of tests related errors together with other teams.
Other responsibilities are:

Responsible for the work performance, development and motivation of test engineers and technicians
Monitoring customer first pass yield and leading improvement activities
Transfer of new test equipment and related knowledge to the factory, ensuring the readiness of new test equipment and production process
Developing and implementing safety requirements of testers
Support for PTT team


Main Objective

Responsible for process and technology roadmap
Manage new testing technology and testing process introductions to plant
Supervise equipment selection, related qualifications and installations in order to meet GPV efficiency standards as well as local HSE regulatory requirements
Ensure stable test processes
Ensure minimum machine downtimes by implementing total productive maitenance goals and strategy
Manage root cause analysis of test related, technical problems and make sure team provide corrective actions
Responsible for test related investments (capex)
Responsibe for continuous improvement process in testing area in regards to process quality and efficiency
Control and develop skills of team to meet customer’s requirements and Enics standards.


Your background
Minimum B.Sc. in Engineering, preferable in Electronics
3 + years experience of a leadership role (from project manager, team leader or manager position)
5 + years experience within industrial manufacturing
Can do-attitude
Team player and a coaching leadership style
Fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
