Process & IT belongs to the Business Office organization covering Finance, Strategy and Process & IT. We are overall responsible for IT, Process governance and management at Volvo Buses. We develop and drive the Process & IT strategy globally, drive cross-functional projects, govern global processes and support global and local process work. Our responsibility requires close collaboration with colleagues all over the world.


Volvo Buses is seeking an Enterprise Architect to strengthen our architecture community. You have the drive and passion to contribute to our ambition of being an industry benchmark and of course to success for Volvo Buses.


ROLE DESCRIPTION
Your main focus is to enable execution of the business strategy by defining and implementing enterprise target architectures, strategies and roadmaps. The architecture goals is to develop an efficient application portfolio and increasing quality in information management.


An important part is to support our global teams in managing IT related challenges and contributing to a high performing culture were people take pride in being responsible for their complete deliveries.

This position requires that you proactively and voluntarily take the first steps to identify and address issues and opportunities. You easily interact with a wide variety of business stakeholders and other architect roles to gather information, facilitate consensus building and influence the P&IT roadmap. You should be commercially oriented, with team building skills. You like to develop both yourself and others, always striving for continuous improvements. Excellent communication skills in English, spoken and written is a must.


We of course expect that you have experience as an Enterprise Architect and are comfortable with architecture models like TOGAF or Volvo Group architecture frameworks and processes. You also should have experience from developing architecture strategies, policies, guidelines, information management and guide development projects towards a target architecture. Finally, you have a University/Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent
