EPICS Integrator

We are looking for an experienced EPICS integrator. EPICS in this context means Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System, https://epics-controls.org/


Responsibilities
Analysis and definition of requirements for different control systems
Architecture and design of control system components
Implementation and test of control system components
Maintenance, support, and improvements of delivered components
Quality control and regulatory compliance of deliverables


Required qualifications
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering Physics, Automation, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar.
3+ years of experience from EPICS integration
Experience and knowledge of EPICS IOC development
Experience and knowledge of EPICS database development
Excellent oral and written English skills


Optional qualifications
Experience from motion control
Experience from Linux kernel development
