Oresund Drydocks is one of the leading shipyards in Europe and is located in Landskrona, Sweden right at the heart of the dynamic Oresund region. We offer a complete range of services within ship repairs, maintenance and reconstruction.

We are developing our business and need to find an experienced colleague to our estimating department.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
Candidates must be industry professionals with at least 5 years experience or extensive knowledge in the following disciplines:

Ship repair and preparation of repair quotations for different types of vessels.
Structural fabrication, structural installation, electrical and pipe system drawings
Compute time, engineering and direct costs, and labour estimates for products and projects to develop total project cost
Naval architect or marine engineering qualifications are desirable, however candidates must display proven experience in ship repair engineering / ship conversions.
Open minded for new challenges and good understanding for business
Driver Licence

JOB DESCRIPTION
Thoroughly review customer specifications, drawings and technical data
Develop detailed itemized listing of required work tasks based on above review
Analyse subcontractor quotes to determine best alternative
Produce quotations based on the above
Travel is expected.
