Exchange & Hedge Analyst - Financial Controller

Do you want to work in an international organization, in close collaboration with Busines Control, Group Finance funcions and senior management in the automotive industry? This might be the position for you! 

Main tasks and responsabilities:
Your main responsibilities will be to continuously monitor the company´s exchange rate risk exposure and report the financial effect to the Executive Management, Group Treasury and Group Controller. You will complete ad hoc presentations and investigations as requested and project lead in developing more efficient processes together with Group Treasury.

In this position you will be a key contributor to the creation of the next generation Finance community. You will develop and implement smart and nimble finance processes, create intuitive reports and analysis to support the business in the best way. This will be done in close cooperation with Business Control in the functions as well as the Group Finance functions. Through networking and benchmarking you will be part of taking the Finance organization into a modern organization, ready to meet the challenges ahead. The position is highly visible and frequently meets with senior management.

As a member of this team, you will build a large network which presents a great opportunity for you to learn about the groups processes and organization. The right candidate will after a period of time understand the exposure of exchange rate risk in Global Operations and the company´s strategy in reducing those risks, whether it may be from natural hedging or hedging through financial instruments.

You will be employed by Adecco and work as a consultant. The assignment starts in may and will continue until november, but there are very good chances this will be pro-longed.

Who are we looking for?
To be qualified for this position you need a degree in Business and/or Engineering and previous experience from a similar role. We are looking for someone with excellent computer skills, particularly HFM, Excel modeling and PowerPoint. We believe you have experience from income statement and entity structure in HFM. You have good analytical skills and ability to take own initiatives and develop the role. You have the ability to understand and communicate complex financial changes and quickly learn how to identify trends and inconsistencies in data collected in comparison with other internal and external data. You are committed to delivery and have good prioritization skills to get all tasks completed in the time required. You have focus on high quality of work completed; forecast calculations and reporting work is highly visible and accuracy therefore critical and a genuine interest to learn as well as to teach is very important for this position.
