On behalf of WHO Uppsala Monitoring Centre (UMC) we are looking for an experienced assistant to the newly appointed CEO. The assignment is initially for four months, but should all turn out well, there is a great chance that the right person would be offered an extension. You will be employed by Manpower and be office based in central Uppsala.
What you will do
As a Executive assistant at UMC, your main task will be administrative support to the CEO and Board and, when required, key support to the rest of the executive team. Responsibilities will include managing the CEO's calendar and meeting schedule; preparing and organising board meetings; receiving incoming calls; updating the CEO on ongoing activities; handling travel arrangements, business contracts, and confidential documents; designing documents and PowerPoint presentations; independently taking care of correspondence in Swedish and English; and administering various other projects.
About you
To thrive in this role, we believe you must be a skilled, confident assistant with previous experience at a similar level, preferably in an international environment. To you, the phrase "service minded" is not just words, it's who you are - flexible with a great capacity to organise, prioritise, and complete numerous tasks by requested deadlines. Having been part of an international organisation before, you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in English and Swedish. Your computer proficiency includes Microsoft Office 365.
