Exhaust Aftertreatment Engineer

The Exhaust Aftertreatment group at Energy Efficiency and Environment within ATR acts as expertise in the areas of design and evaluation of exhaust aftertreatment systems. We work with analysis of gas phase components in laboratory scale, engine bench and on vehicles, as well as modelling of catalytic systems and development of new concepts in close collaboration with new combustion engine designs.

Responsibilities:
-In AT&R/EATS group, you will be responsible to coordinate and lead research and technology projects within the area of exhaust aftertreatment and develop and mature novel technologies and concepts.
Description of main activities:
-Functioning as an expert in exhaust aftertreatment technology
-Coordinating research/technology projects, defining project activities and milestones, following up the project progress and reporting on steering committees
-Developing new exhaust aftertreatment technologies, concepts and methods
-Performing emission testing and analyzing the results for the evaluation of different concepts
-Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
-Reporting to Project Managers and Director EATS

Requirement:
-Ph.D. preferable, or M.Sc. degree in chemical or mechanical engineering or equivalent
-High skills in exhaust aftertreatment technologies and systems
-Good communication and project leading skills
-Good abilities to analyze experimental data and propose new EATS concepts

Analytical and conceptual thinking
-Ability to present and describe complex technical solutions and provide input and advice
-Ability to work well with others in a team oriented environment
