Experienced Development and Test engineer

Position description

We now plan to strengthen our Body team and are looking for a Function development and test engineer for exterior lighting system, with experience from the vehicle industry. In this position you will work with development of the electrical control unit for visibility systems, controlling exterior lighting, windscreen wiping and washer systems. The work will be done in close cooperation with the system engineer, functional owner and software designer.


Your main tasks are:
- Development and specification of advanced lighting systems.
- Functional specification based on legal requirement, customer demand and supplier recommendations.
- Functional architecture description and allocation of element requirement that are base for software design.
- Develop test specifications for validation tests and perform validation tests in test rig and vehicle.


You will mainly be placed at customer site in east of Sweden.


Skills & Requirements

- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical, Structural or Physics Engineering
- At least 7 years of experience at Automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier
- Experience within CANalyser X-COM
- Experience within exterior lighting system and electronic system development
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
- Driving license
