Position description

As a Development Engineer you will be part of the LeanNova Porpulsion and Energy Management team, working with CAE methods for optimized Performance and Fuel Economy / CO2 optimization of vehicles and vehicle propulsion.

Our strength is our experience and knowledge in complete vehicle development using CAE as the main development tool. With models created in MATLAB/Simulink, you will analyze anything from conventional cars to large hybrid/electric industrial machines. Depending on the customer, you may also be involved in testing and other project work tasks related to Energy management. We now need to strengthen our team with experienced systems and feature developers in powertrain control systems for conventional as well as hybrid propulsion systems.

Working experience from feature development, distributed and embedded control systems (Matlab / Simulink), vehicle communication, model-based development and simulation technology is a requirement. You also should have good knowledge from combustion engine, electric motors and/or high voltage batteries calibration and data modelling. Experience from safety critical function development is an advantage.

You will mainly be placed in our main office in Trollhättan or in our office in Gothenburg, but there are also possibilities to work on site at our customers in Sweden or abroad.


Skills & Requirements

- B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Physics Engineering
- At least 5 years of engineering work experience at OEM or Tier 1 supplier
- Good knowledge of engines, transmissions, electric motors, and batteries
- Good knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
- Drivers license
