We are looking for a Project Manager to be responsible for production investment projects. In our team nine project managers are working to support the Cytiva site with management of investment projects to meet production capacity/productivity and regulations requirements at Site Uppsala. We want you to be our next project manager in the team.
What you'll do
A typical project might be to deliver a new chemical process production line to increase capacity. The project will include specifying, buying, and installing production equipment as large tanks, tubing, pumps, automation system. Other projects are environmental/sustainability, process safety and productivity
Your job as project manager is to handle a project team of four to fifteen project member and ensure progress according to the project plan. We usually outsource part of the project to external suppliers. Your work results have a significant impact to the business.
As a Project Manager you will be responsible for the development of scope, planning and building of production investment projects. Your tasks will include developing ideas from the concept phase until the end of the implementation phase. Your job is to develop project drafts, business cases in close collaboration with the internal stakeholders and to run feasibility studies. You will collect ideas and solutions from different suppliers as well as collect budget offers for cost estimates.
Task include:
Lead the execution of small to medium-size production projects and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with the Cytiva policy, the Cytiva Project Handbook, contractual agreements, quality standards, environment, health, & safety requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments.
Lead the project team, establishes the project execution approach and oversees project hand-over, execution planning, and monitoring and control activities for both internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
Providing clear and timely communication regarding the status of the project – schedule, budget, progress to date, risks etc. to relevant stakeholders
Who you are
At least 5 years of project management experience in technical installation projects, preferable from production or automatization
Excellent communications, conflict management and interpersonal skills
B.S./B.A./M.S. degree or equivalent technical training
Can work in Swedish and English
