GÖTAVERKEN MILJÖ ABis expanding and is looking for an experienced Project Manager– who will contribute with knowledge and enthusiasm in our future projects. Götaverken Miljö is a specialised company within the environmental and energy industry. We develop, design, and deliver front end technological systems and plants which clean up environmentally dangerous emissions, recover energy and generate comfort cooling. Our company offers unique, world-leading technologies for dioxin and mercury capture from flue gases. We continuously support our customers through service projects as well as consultancy projects within all product areas. Götaverken Miljö has attractively located offices on the expansive Lundbystrand overlooking Göta Älv.

As a Project Manager within our company you will be responsible for initiation, management and completion of large plant projects within the energy/process industry. As project manager you will also be involved already in the sales processes to influence sales parameters to establish best possible conditions for successful project implementation. In your role you will lead teams of approximately 5-8 team-members and you will be in direct contact with customers, suppliers, consultants and contractors on daily basis.

The role of the project manager is to ensure that all projects are efficiently managed, with a high-level of transparency to the client. To meet contract requirements, schedule and budget will form key responsibilities of the project manager. The role requires a skilled person with good practical experience ande good understanding of both commercial and technical side of large scale projects within the energy or process industry. Götaverken Miljö AB is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and highly dynamic Project Manager to join the team for managing projects within Scandinavia and Europe. The position involves around 30-50 travel days per year. Are you our next strong team member?

Main responsibilities

* Lead and participate in the planning and execution of large projects
* Create and review project execution plans, schedules, budgets, resource requirements, etc
* Perform and/or coordinate: technical reviews, cost estimates, subcontractor expediting, risk analyses and project reports
* Lead and develop your team of engineers and specialists
* Lead and participate in preparation of technical specifications and procurement of equipment and subcontracts
* Provide leadership and support to the development of project management tools and processes within the company
* Co-operate with other Project Managers and share best-practices


Required qualifications

* Technical education, preferably a BSc or MSc in Engineering
* A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience from Project Management, preferably within energy and/or process industry
* Have demonstrated leadership skills for delegation, negotiation, influencing, and consensus building to coordinate project work to meet objectives
* Excellent client facing skills and ability to assist in organic business development
* Knowledge of legal aspects related to contract negotiation and execution
* Fluent in the Swedish and English language, both written and spoken
* Experienced with project management tools like MS Project, Excel and Word

Our projects mainly concern flue gas cleaning systems with specialisation in flue gas condensation and removal of dioxin and mercury emissions. Our projects are sizing from 10 to 200 MSEK and we are now growing our business internationally. We deliver subsystems and materials to the entire world and supply complete systems throughout Europe in collaboration with our parent company Babcock & Wilcox Vølund and other strong local partners.
