By optimizing the external logistics flows within Product Area (PA) Crushing and Screening, we strive to be a key enabler in gaining sustainable competitive advantage and assuring a high-quality and cost effective transportation and distribution network for our equipment and aftermarket. Our true belief is that clear expectations, continuous improvements and excellent leaders are the keys to our success, and we are now looking for an External Logistics Manager to join us in Svedala.

Job Summary
As External Logistics Manager you are responsible for developing and executing our external logistics strategy: managing existing and new partners and defining and designing our logistic networks by identifying the best possible third party logistic providers, warehouses and freight methods in order to fulfill agreements with our end customers. A vital part of your responsibility is to build a high performance organization to support this strategy, as we are moving from a centralized to a decentralized model. You lead, motivate and develop your team in accordance with our people and performance management processes, and you ensure a lean logistics philosophy to reduce lead time and cost. Furthermore, you support the PA globally in logistics-related matters, and you have a geographically extensive network connected to our sales areas, product management and internal and external suppliers.

International travel will become a natural part of this position and you report to the Director of Logistics for PA Crushing and Screening.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or another relevant field. You have at least five years? experience of working with logistics, in particular within warehousing, transportation and 4PL partners, and you have good knowledge of various logistics solutions offered on the market. We value your experience from project management and you have previously been responsible for running key strategic projects. Experience from international, complex and demanding logistics set-ups, including an ERP system, is beneficial, as is competence in relation to business process implementation and change management. As we interact on the global stage, you have excellent communication skills in English, both in writing and in speaking.
