ESS is now looking for a Project Engineer for the Facility Management Division organised within the Project Directorate. You will work within the FM Support and Design team which works in close collaboration with the FM maintenance and construction groups. As a Project Engineer you will support the whole division with planning, cost and contract management, setting up routines for maintenance and changes of the ESS landscape, buildings and building related installations. You have a good sense of structuring work for yourself and for others and you are service & solution oriented.
Job description
Your main areas of responsibilities as a FM Project Engineer will be to:
• Administrate the planning activities within the FM division, and coordinating the plans with other divisions
• Support and follow up planned activities (work orders) in the Enterprise Asset Management tool
• Administrate and follow up on costs related to construction and maintenance work
• Support with planning procurement activities and managing contracts related to support the construction and maintenance work
• Support the FM division with tools and routines to safely and efficiently perform maintenance and construction work
• Together with colleagues in FM Support & Design maintain and develop the high quality of service provided to ESS
Qualifications
We think that the successful candidate has:
• Master of Science in Civil Engineering/Bachelor of Engineering or Economics or equivalent in work experience
• At least 5 years of experience in project management, construction management or design management
• Interest and ability for new working methods and new computer technology aids
• Good ability to listen to customers’ needs
• Ability to structure and plan the work independently
• Good oral and written English skills
• Well-developed ability for both collaborative and independent work
• Experience from computer aided facility management systems like Infor is an advantage
• Experience with working in multi disciplines, coordinating work across a broad spectrum of different installations is an advantage
We truly believe that you have excellent collaboration skills, working with people with different knowledge and background. You have a good understanding of how to coordinate work between different disciplines in a complex project, such as ESS. You are curious and interested to perform your own task, but also to collaborate and to help out the rest of the ESS FM team in their different disciplines. You have a well-developed ability to listen, consult others and to communicate and document proactively. You have an eye for details and take great pride in maintaining a high level of quality in all the work you carry out.
Duration & Location
The position is permanent with six months initial probationary period
Your work place will be situated in Lund, Sweden.
Start date
The position is to be filled as soon as possible.
