Field Application Specialist

Tecan (www.tecan.com) is a leading global provider of advanced automation and detection solutions for the world's leading life science laboratories. Tecan Nordic AB is currently recruiting for a Field Application Specialist.


Job Description:

Responsible for service and application support on Tecan Liquid Handling and Detection instrumentation within the territory. Preferable placement is in the Stockholm area. Duties include support activities such as on-site or remote support, installations, implementation of customized applications, training of customers, demonstrations and maintenance and repair of instruments.

Qualifications:

Must be educated to M.Sc. standard in Chemistry or Biology or a related subject.
Must be willing to travel across all over the territory on a weekly basis and must possess a driving license.

Experience:

Previous experience of service and application support or operation of laboratory equipment is desirable.

Individual Characteristics:

Must be a self-motivated and enthusiastic person, have excellent interpersonal skills, and enjoy working independently as well as part of a team.

Must be action oriented and highly customer service focused and have strong analytical and diagnostic skills.


Special Knowledge / Skills:

Programming knowledge (e.g. C#, .NET, VB Script) is desirable.
