Field Engineer IP Backbone

3GNS AB is a mobile system consulting company developing and delivering local and global services within the mobile telephony. 3GNS AB has long term agreements with Nokia Siemens Network, Ericsson and Huawei.

Position Description
Support and troubleshoot a national backbone network including routers and switches. We are looking for 4 person working in Stockholm, Norrköping, Borlänge, Örebro.

Required skills

-Good knowledge of data networking principles.
-Good knowledge of the specific technologies to manage and support high-speed low latency networks.
-Knowledge with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the telecommunications field.
-2-3 years work experience in tele/datacommunications networks preferably with installation and/or troubleshooting.
-Drivers license B

Specific skills required

-Experience and understanding of some or all of the following areas: layer 2 switching, DWDM, dark fiber services and OTDR testing, SDH, IP subnetting and routing,
-Hands on experience with some or all of the following equipment platforms: Transmode and Ericsson Marconi WDM equipment, -Cisco/Juniper routers and switches
-Hands-on experience with data network testing instruments and troubleshooting tools
-Hardware: Ericsson/Marconi C/DWDM, Transmode C/DWDM, Cisco/Juniper/Riverstone Switches and Routers
