Finance Director

The Finance Director is responsible for the strategic and operational management of Finance for the country in scope. The incumbent is responsible to secure an efficient financial management in the country, in line with corporate guidelines and local legislative requirements. Duties and responsibilities are to be carried out in close partnership with other business and functional units
YOUR ROLE
In this role you report directly to the National Manager and have a dotted line reporting to the SVP Finance Europe In this role you will work closely with the National Management team to drive the business and collaborate on the country strategy and focus You will work closely with the Regional Finance team You will strive towards the leading and developing the Finance team including the finance leadership in your country
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
To lead, manage and develop the finance team in your country.
To implement, direct and maintain correct and reliable accounting and administrative procedures at all times in line with K+N accounting principles and local regulations.
Prepare or directs the process of annual budgets, forecasts and financial analysis.
Prepare regular variance analysis and reviews and discusses the results with the BU/FU.
Ensure a healthy cash flow by managing working capital effectively.
Evaluate and decide credit risks on sound financial KPI’s.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax returns or any other local compliance reports
Safeguards the company assets

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
Master degree in financial management or equivalent diploma
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a leadership role in Finance
In depth knowledge of accounting and finance management
Strong leadership and communication skills
Strong analytical and strategic business skills
Negotiation Skills
