Finance Director, Medical Device Nordics – Johnson & Johnson

Objectives of the Position
In this role you will be directly responsible and accountable for the following aspects of Finance function of MD Nordics. You will be a key business partner to the Managing Director Nordics and the Nordic Leadership team to drive profitable growth in Medical Device Nordics, Johnson & Johnson:
Provide high quality strategic and financial support to the Managing Director Nordics and the Leadership team to ensure best outcomes for our business & patients, while financial targets are met:
Win competitive account conversions and secure long-term partnerships with our customers.
Deliver customer solutions (beyond product) and put appropriate financial processes in place to enable and assess such solutions.
Support new business models.
Develop and execute commercial strategies to meet platform goals.
Drive improvements to SGP through SKU mix optimization, contract compliance, pricing discipline, OCNIS/SLOB.
Improve efficiencies and effectiveness in the new 3 tier finance model in close partnership with BS COE and GS organizations.
Statutory and SOX compliance and adequacy:
Statutory board member of the 3 MD legal entities in Sweden, and cross sector legal entity in Norway.
Provide internal control and financial guidance to the business ensuring compliance with Corporate procedures, business policies, reporting requirements and SOX.
Adequate internal and external audit conclusions.
Manage finance talent pool:
Lead a team of 4 controllers in Business Unit Finance.
Drive a Credo-based and performance-based culture.
Attract, develop and retain the best talent and build a strong, diverse talent pipeline. Accelerate the development of emerging talents.
Promote strong cross sector collaboration.



What you will need to succeed
Ability to bring clarity to complex business issues and proven success in managing complex projects & processes.
Strong leadership skills.
A track record of driving constructive change should be evident.
Familiarity with Shared Service environment.
Excellent communication skills – must be able to work with and influence internal customers.
Comfortable to challenge internal customers in a non-confrontational way.
Ability to analyse the financial data ensuring that it makes business sense.
Self-starter and team player.



Qualifications
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent education (required).
Qualified accountant or an international qualified accountant equivalent, with strong post qualified experience at a similar level, or within a multinational environment or with J&J MD&D knowledge (meriting).
Highly computer literate, experience with Microsoft Office suite (required).
Proficient in English language, verbal and written (required).
This role is based in Solna, Stockholm.
