Finance Manager

TMF Group in Sweden is currently looking for a highly motivated, team-oriented
Finance Manager to join its local team.


Job purpose
The Finance Manager reports to the Managing Director and it is a combined role of internal financial reporting and external client accounting. As such the role holder will be responsible for the production of the internal financial reporting and in addition, they will be assigned a client portfolio for which they will produce the clients' financial statements, balance sheets and annual reports. They will work in compliance with all TMF procedures and standards.

Key responsibilities

. Responsible for the accounting of TMF Sweden AB;
. Delivery of management accounts, budgets, forecasts, statutory accounts , VAT returns etc;
. Provision of management information and reporting in line with group and local requirements;
. Liaising with auditors at year end;
. Monitoring and reporting on productivity for the office;
. The preparation of (local and consolidated) financial statements, balance sheets and annual reports;
. Maintain contact with auditors, tax advisors, lawyers and other involved parties in order to obtain the required information for reporting purposes;
. End to End ownership of assigned clients;
. Be proactive and use initiative to clarify issues, identify savings and efficiency in operations;
. Oversee the implementation of TMF Group operational processes to ensure best practice is followed;
. Keep up to date with any changes to local accounting legislation.

Key requirements
. 3-5 years' experience of working in the field of Accounting, either as an Internal Financial controller or a Client Accountant;
. Good knowledge of finance; accounting and cost control principles;
. Excellent knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, especially Swedish GAAP's and experience in preparation of Swedish Annual Accounts;
. Attention to details and good organizational skills;
. Experience with working in an international environment is a plus;
. Previous work experience from consultancy firm or similar work is a plus;
. Good IT knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office software and with Excel in particular.
