Financial Analyst/ Controller

Mining and Rock Excavation Service is a division within Atlas Copcos Mining and Rock Excavation Technique business area. With 4 000 employees in more than 60 countries and distribution centers in China, Sweden and the United States, Mining and Rock Excavation Service provides a complete range of services with the aim to maximize customers productivity. The division focuses on spare parts supply, professional service, support solutions and training. It is based in Örebro and Märsta, Sweden.

Right now we are looking for a Financial Analyst/ Controller.

This position will provide valuable experience within the broad field of controlling, and will also give extensive knowledge of and exposure to the exciting field of the service business covering a wide variety of aftermarket activities and functions.

Position will report to Business Controller for Mining & Rock Excavation Service in Orebro, and involves many interpersonal interfaces within the organization.

Duties included but not limited to:

1. Assist Business Controller
a. in analyzing business risk and opportunities
b. to conduct financial analysis to improve business profitability and efficiency
c. in reviewing and developing processes and tools for high standard internal control
d. to coordinate planning for and follow-up of financial outcome


2. Review for accuracy, maintain for consistency, and develop for efficiency processes in Distribution Center in particular related to
a. product line reporting
b. item cost accounting
c. ndirect cost accounting
d. functional cost reporting
e. inventory management reporting

3. Review for accuracy, maintain for consistency, and develop for efficiency processes in Product Company in particular related to
a. technical service cost accounting
b. functional cost reporting
c. project cost and time reporting

4. Support in process of application for investments and follow-up of effects
5. Maintain and develop procedures for calculation and execution of cost allocation and distribution
6. Maintain and develop monthly closing and reporting procedures
7. May act as project leader or provide work direction or training to employees at all levels
8. Other duties assigned by Business Controller

Mission
To play a key role in the control and guidance of the financial results for Mining & Rock Excavation Service Distribution Center and Mining & Rock Excavation Service Product Company respectively.
To ensure high quality in financial and business analysis of operational activities.
To participate in the development of business system and other application support for financial control of operations.
This is accomplished via rigorous process and data analysis, creation and automation of business system requirements and effective project management.

Knowledge
- Cost Accounting experience / Solid understanding of cost accounting principles
- Time reporting and project management
- Major enterprise reporting package from manufacturing or distribution industry
- Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel
- Fluent in English

Education
University degree in Business Administration, preferably within accounting, financial analysis or a related field
