Financial Controller for interim position starting as soon as possible.

Our client is a large international organization with office located in Solna.

Job description
We are now looking for a Financial Controller to our client for a six month contract starting as soon as possible. The Financial Controller will be responsible for ensuring a sound control environment that meets the local and international policies and requirements. The main responsibilities will include accounting, compliance, control, treasury and internal as well as external audit. The Financial Controller will manage the accounting teams working with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and the General Ledger in order to ensure that deadlines are followed for instance regarding payments and the month end reporting.

The work responsibilities includes for instance:
- Control of balance sheet and the reconciliation process.
- Development of local finance procedures.
- Ensuring that planning and forecast processes are supported and provide a good analysis of actual results.
- Support project managers to ensure good controls over projects costs and revenue recognition.
- Ad hoc analysis.
- Own and manage treasury process and cash flow.

What you'll need to succeed
For this role, we are looking for a person who is an excellent leader with an ability to motivate the team and drive the work forward. You are a team player with an ability to work proactive and a good and determined people manager.

To be successful in the role, you have previous experience from a similar position, preferably in a large company with US reporting exposure. You are technically excellent with good IT and spreadsheet skills and HFM reporting experience. Experience from a big accounting firm is preferable.
