Fire Protection and Security Leader

In the role as Fire Protection and Security Leader you will be responsible for managing and supporting the Uppsala site with knowledge and expertise in order to enhance our fire protection and security capabilities. Risk Management team coordinates activities between Security, Crisis Management, Business Continuity, Fire Prevention/Protection and other projects to mitigate risks at the Uppsala site. The primary focus of this position is fire protection.

Essential Responsibilities:
. Maintain and develop Uppsala Site's fire protection in accordance to applicable laws and requirements
. Coordinate the activities of Site security guard
. Maintain and improve all physical security systems
. Support and coordinate the site's emergency preparedness activities

As secondary responsibilities you will also plan and perform Fire Protection awareness and preparedness training.
You will report to the leader of Risk Management Team, Security and Business Continuity Manager for GE Healthcare, Sweden.

Qualifications/Requirements:
. Documented advanced Fire Protection experience
. Experience in Crisis Management and/or Emergency response
. Documented knowledge in Security
. 5 - 10 years of work experience
. EU work permit

Desired Characteristics:
. Fire Protection and Security Leader should be able to manage projects independently as well as work together with the department and others as a strong team player.
. He/she should have solid planning and prioritizing skills.
