Fraud Prevention Analyst

Are you driven, ambitious and have excellent analytical skills? Our Payments and Fraud team is looking for a Fraud Prevention Analyst!

As a Fraud prevention Analyst, you will be working to counteract fraudulent behavior and to proactively minimize fraud trends through regular analysis of transactions and adaptation of relevant fraud screening rules.

The role involves regular reviewing of transactions for potentially suspicious activity and maintaining various system reports, amongst other tasks. We believe that the successful candidate must be able to work under pressure with a consistence eye for detail. The successful candidate will report directly to the Payments and Fraud Manager.


In your role you will:Manually review suspicious transactions to identify fraudulent behaviour
Take decision and act on fraudulent transactions to minimize the impact of fraud
Enhance the risk management tools to cover newly developing fraud patterns
Perform analysis and benchmarking relating to fraud-related technology initiatives
Deliver actionable recommendations for business decisions and relating to fraud
Assist in developing global strategy for security policies, procedures and measures
Drive projects and work independently

Personal qualifications:


Excellent analytical skills and capable of working independently
You efficiently execute your work with the ability to competently prioritize new tasks
You have good communication and stakeholder management skills
Good understanding of Anti Money Laundering, regulatory and compliance requirement
Fluent written and spoken English
Flexible approach to working in a dynamic environment
University degree or extensive experience within fraud analysis
Experience with communication with banks and regulators
You are a highly skilled communicator with ability to build networks and relationships
