The role Freight Cost Controller is located within the Operational transport function within the Inbound Logistics organisation (IBL) and will report to the Manager Freight Cost Management. The purpose of the Freight Cost Management function is to manage the invoicing process, which to a large extent is based on self-billing. Further the purpose is to handle claims related to the self-billing process. The demands and the pace will be high at the same time offering a unique opportunity to make a professional imprint and great future possibilities for the ambitious and skilled. The role is based in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Main responsibilities
· Generating of freight bills based on transport orders
· Deviations in the self-billing process
· Confirmations of SAP Purchasing Requisitions
· Checking of invoices based on valid rates and actual shipping volumes (should be exception)
· Preparing of claims and documentation of invoicing discrepancies
· Communication of claims and coordinating clarification with stakeholders
· Following-up on credit notes
· Financial performance within your area of responsibility in the Inbound Logistics function is correctly and continuously tracked and interpreted
· Reporting of findings from performance tracking
· External providers are being paid according to contract (where applicable)

Required qualifications
· University degree in Business Administration or Logistics
· A minimum of 3 years experience from a business controlling role in Logistics
· Strong affinity for financial reporting
· Experience of freight contracts, price data bases, freight rates and self-billing processes
· Fluent in English
