Frontend Developer

Fyndiq is an e-commerce platform like Amazon, through which we, in the spirit of GeKås Ullared, offer a range of products for bargain hungry shoppers. Fyndiq is the one stop bargain shop of the web. Moreover, we provide a sales channel for all types of e-tailers as well as brick and mortar stores, who want to sell slowly moving products or products that needs to increase in sales in an accessible way. Today we have more than 900 merchants connected and we offer our customers more than 130,000 products.

Fyndiq was established on the market in 2010 and has since then enjoyed a rapid growth. In 2011 sales were 8 million, which increased in 2012 to 56 million and landed 2013 at 124 million. Fyndiq is operated by experienced entrepreneurs with full involvement and high goals for the future. Our vision is to become the largest e-commerce platform in Sweden and as we go on we see strong growth both in Sweden and internationally. Today we are 55 ambitious and proud employees and we are growing rapidly within all our teams. To enhance our tech team we are now looking for a dedicated Front End developer.

At Fyndiq our tech-team develops everything, from server infrastructure and back-end code in Python/Django to front-end development in JavaScript and HTML. In our team you will work together with seven highly skilled technicians that take pride in creating elegant, simple solutions that scale well. In this position you will also work closely with our marketing team. As part of the Fyndiq tech-team you will work in a way that is inspired by the open source community and our work rely on communication via GitHub.

Who are you?

To succeed in this position you have at least 2 years of experience from the field and your passion is front end / web development. HTML5, CSS and JavaScript is well-known to you and if you have prior experience of making a website responsive it is a big plus. Experience from Python, Django is meritorious, although what other languages you know is not the main thing as long as you are a skilled front end developer. Furthermore you are a quick learner who takes pride in writing clean code that is easily maintained.

As a person you take pride in being part of building our own platform which means that you are careful, accurate and want to make a difference. You are outgoing and communicative and enjoy working in a small tech-team where everyone?s addition count. You work in a proactive way and you will be responsible for making sure that we develop solutions that are up to date and with the newest technologies.
