Arbetsbeskrivning

The department Powertrain control is responsible for development of control functions for driveline applications. We work with the complete development cycle from requirement to implementation and calibration in machine. Our applications are gear shift control and gear shift strategy for power shift transmissions, brake control, brake blending and traction control. We are now in a phase where we will start up a lot of new technology development projects and we need to increase our organization with skilled engineers to be able to handle all new challenges. Job description: You will work as a development engineer within driveline control with focus on functional development of control SW. The job include everything from compilation of requirements to development and implementation of new functions and control algorithms in C-code or Model based deign with Matlab/Simulink. The end application is heavy machines such as wheel loaders, articulated haulers, motor graders or trucks. The work is based on close cooperation with complete machine developers and is carried out in cross functional project with representation from both electronic system and mechanical design. Test and verification of the SW components are carried out in our dynamic SIL environment with Matlab/Simulink before they are integrated and tested in the complete system. We also carry out a lot of testing in complete machine and it its required that you spend time in machines to be able to get full understanding of the application. General qualifications: Master or Bachelor of Science within the areas of Mechatronics, SW-engineering, Electronics, Mechanical engineering or similar Experience from development of transmissions, driveline systems or other mechatronic systems are desirable Knowledge in controls, SW-development, model based function development, simulation, mechatronics, signal processing, sensors and actuators etc Knowledge and interest in heavy vehicles Good communication skills in English are required and in Swedish is desirable
