The section Propulsive Vehicle Control works very close to end costumer and is responsible for development of control algorithms and calibration of the in-house developed software "Propulsive Vehicle Control". This means we develop control algorithms, calibration and verification of shift schedules and shift quality for automatic transmission. Read drivers intension, from the accelerator pedal or from the speed limitation functions, to request a torque from the engine. The group Shift Controls and Calibration today includes 20 persons. We are responsible for development of control algorithms, calibration and verification of shift schedules and shift quality for automatic transmissions.

As Function Developer you are responsible of developing functions for shift schedules and clutch control. The Function Developer create in-house software to make it possible for our calibrators to obtain optimum balance between Drivability-, Performance-, NVH-, Emission- and Fuel consumption attributes for our customers. It is essential to have a focus on dual clutch transmissions, both conventional and hybrid concepts. You will be part of an energetic and committed team and have the possibilities to try out your developments direct in a car or on rig.

Main responsibilities

* Function development, implementation and testing
* Evaluation and problem analysis
* Support calibration teams, both in Gothenburg and for base project expeditions
* Active in group and section efficiency work (Find ways and methods to increase our future output)

Required qualifications

* Master university degree in engineering, preferably within Mechatronics, Engeeering Physics or equivalent
* Experience in software/function development
* Good knowledge in Targetlink, Simulink, Matlab or similar
* Experience from dual clutch transmission development is meritorious
* Analytical and skills in mathematics is a merit, since it supports our path towards 202020 goals with decreased development time for future projects and replace test vehicles with virtual- / model based testing
* Driver license B
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken

* Ability to put end customer in focus
* Result-oriented and ability to make things happen
* A good team-player with high communication skills
* Structured and good ability to plan daily and future work effective
