GTA Vehicle Electronics is one of five global technology areas within Global Electrical, Electronics Eng. We are rep on all Volvo GTT sites, consist of around 130 skilled eng in the area of:
Vehicle functions, electronics. Chassis functions, electronics. Safety functions, electronics. Customer, Transport Adaptation

You will work in the team resp for dev Vehicle functions, electronics located in Lundby, Gbg, where the function dev teams are located in-house. Our mission is to deliver world class products in the area of vehicle functions, electronics where we are constantly challenged to provide the best solutions in terms of feature, quality, cost at the right time. You can look forward to an individual, inspiring assignment together with many enthusiastic, professional colleagues. You will in this role be the contact interface/responsible for your component/s, have a large network cross-functionally, globally.

Responsibilities:
Collect, analyze, break-down high level product requirements to electronic control unit requirements
Model the functionality of truck functions to explain the behavior of the electronics system
Document requirements in a structured way making it possible to implement, verify hardware, software components made in-house or by external suppliers
Single point of contact to stakeholders for technical issues
Provide function documentation to our internal, external customers
Requirement doc in Volvos dev tools
Drive defect correction, changes to existing spec
Manage the release, quality securement process activities
Take part and/or lead reviews of requirement documents, spec
Drive, follow-up problem reports, implementation securing
Synchronize requirements on the products? evolution road maps with the stakeholders
Continuous communication with stakeholders, suppliers/in-house dev
Be present in all phases of the current function
Follow the GDP, GDI and all concerned processes
Deliver according to committed QDCF

Competencies & experience:

Experience, knowledge in automotive industry requirement documentation
System, risk management perspective
Understanding of multi ECU electronics systems
Supplier/dev/in-house team partner mgmt
Exp within Electronics dev in Automotive
Knowledge in systems eng
Requirement mgmt/interpretation and stakeholder anchoring
