Assignment Description:

As a consultant as Function Owner of Active Safety you will work with the focus on the functions of AEB (Autonomous Emergency Breaking) and ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control). You will be responsible for defining the customer functions for the two functions implemented in the ADAS system based on a front radar and front camera. You will also follow up that the function content is correctly distributed to the involved systems to realize the functions, and finally to make sure the function is implemented and verified as desired. Reporting will be done to the System Manager of the Active Safety area, as well as to the various projects affected. You will be part of a global development team with resources in both Sweden and China.

Your main focus and responsibilities will be:

• Safeguarding functionality, performance, quality and reliability of both functions

• Planning and controlling the function development

• Generating necessary input for roadmap and strategy discussions
• Making sure that all legal and rating requirements on the systems are met
• Functional requirement handling, coordination and implementation
• Development of functional requirements according to user cases

• Close cooperation with the system & function tester, SW responsible and HMI development team etc.

Requirements:

• M.Sc. Electrical, Mechatronics or Computer Engineering or similar

• Experience of automotive function and/or systems development

• Relevant experience of the AEB & ACC functions is required
• Relevant experience of project- & supplier management

• Ability to drive, motivate and convince
• Persistency to pursue targets and take decisions

• Experience of VCC systems and processes is an advantage

• Experience of working with Asians is an advantage

• Fluent in English (Speaking and Writing)

• Driver’s License category B

Software and IT:

• Knowledge of Elektra and/or System Weaver is an advantage
