Global Business Services is a function within Sandvik IT Global Shared Service ( IT GSS) responsible for the delivery and supply of global business systems to Sandvik. Internet Business Platform is a functional area within Global Business Services, mainly responsible for delivering web portals, CRM, mobility solutions and B2B services, as well as packaging of services and coordination within a number of application areas. The success of our service delivery relies on close co-operation with the IT Demand representatives, Sandvik IT GSS´ Delivery organization and other supply units within IT GSS.

We are now looking for a customer oriented Function Manager who wants to take part in building and developing a team that offers global service!

Key performance areas
As Function Manager you lead the function in its efforts to meet targets and are responsible for objectives and strategies for the team. You are a part of the Business Service Management team and other forums where it is relevant to represent the function.

Your main responsibilities include:
- Managing the function to ensure relevant competence in web technology solutions/methodologies, in order to provide innovative solutions to business partners
- Defining and follow-up on objectives and strategies for the functions
- Leading the Internet Business Platform management team and ensure collaboration between the different functions
- Taking the financial responsibility for the function: budgeting and follow-up of financial results
- Staff management, including allocating resources within the function and supporting the employees´ long-term competence development, as well as managing outsourced delivery management and consultants

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in Business Administration, IT or other relevant field, and with experience from managing IT delivery to business´. For this role you need to have well-developed leadership skills combined with strong IT operational experience. You also have knowledge of strategies, methods and tools for designing and delivering corporate solutions in the area of web-based platforms. Experience from global IT delivery is advantageous, as is a background in and knowledge of the Mobility area. You communicate well in English, both verbally and in writing.
