You will be based out of our head office in Strängnäs (45 minutes by train from Stockholm); however, you will spend a significant part of your time in the field where you support and encourage our subsidiaries and distributors to be active and do the right things in their respective markets. When traveling to destinations in your markets, you will be taking part in customer visits with the local sales force, conducting product training, participating in trade shows, and evaluating distributors.
About the position
As Global Area Sales Manager, you will be joining our team of sales leaders and coordinators, working alongside our marketing, SPM Academy training and consulting services, and technical sales development resources.
You will use your business sense and analytical mindset to identify and pursue new opportunities to develop our business further. You will ensure that our business strategy is implemented, business plans executed, and targets met. Using your strong strategic and tactical sales management skills, you initiate, plan, and follow up the sales activities and marketing efforts required to achieve budget and sales goals.
Your profile
To be successful in this role, you will need a good technical understanding – through your educational background or previous work experience – that will enable you to understand our business and use your insights actively to grow our markets.
We are looking for a team-oriented person with drive, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude towards working together in the company's best interests. You will plan your own time and activities, so good strategic planning skills are vital. You are used to international travel and are comfortable conversing both technically and commercially in English. Additional language skills are a bonus.
